Parkcliffe Expands Care Services with Ohio Department of Aging Certification 

Toledo, OH – August 2025 — Parkcliffe is proud to announce a significant enhancement to its assisted living offerings: it is now officially certified by the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) to provide both Basic Service and Memory Care under the Assisted Living Waiver Program. 

This certification marks a new chapter in Parkcliffe’s commitment to providing comprehensive, person-centered care for older adults in our community. With this new designation, eligible residents can now access Parkcliffe’s high-quality assisted living and memory care services through the Medicaid-funded Assisted Living Waiver—making these essential services more accessible and affordable for Ohio seniors and their families. 

Expanding Access, Elevating Care 

The Assisted Living Waiver Program, administered by the Ohio Department of Aging, enables Medicaid-eligible individuals to receive the supportive services they need in a residential care setting, rather than in a more costly nursing facility. Parkcliffe’s certification under this program includes two key components: 

  • Basic Service: Support with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and housekeeping. 
  • Memory Care: Specialized care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, delivered by trained staff in a secure and structured environment designed to promote safety, dignity, and engagement. 

This certification reinforces our mission to provide compassionate and individualized care. We are thrilled to now offer both basic and memory care services through the Assisted Living Waiver, opening the door for more families to experience the Parkcliffe difference.

Alzheimer’s Care Support Group

Join us at the Oregon Senior Center (4350 Navarre Ave Oregon OH) on the second Thursday of each month from 1 pm -2 pm as we discuss and learn skills. These meetings are specifically designed for those currently caring for someone with Dementia (Alzheimer’s).
